4. What Trackers are
The Site uses certain Trackers, including software development kits ("SDKs"), which use unique identifiers to access and/or store information on your device. SDKs are collections of software tools and libraries that enable the Data Controller to integrate specific functionalities into the Site. Depending on the case, some of these SDKs may install trackers such as cookies.
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by the user send to the device used to access the Internet (usually the browser), where they are stored and then transmitted back to the same websites upon the user's next visit. Each cookie is unique in relation to the browser and device used to access the Site.
5. Personal data processed
Through Trackers, we collect and process data relating to your navigation on the Site such as IP address, device identifiers, operating system details, device characteristics, pages viewed, date of access to the Site, and Tracker preferences.
6. Types of Trackers Used
The Site uses:
- First-party Trackers: placed on your device by the Site.
- Third-party Trackers: placed on your device via the Site by selected third parties.
For more information about these third parties, where they are established, and how they process your personal data, please refer to section 8 below.
Based on their duration, Trackers can be:
- Session Trackers: stored for the duration of the browsing session;
- Persistent Trackers: stored for a predefined period.
For more information on the retention periods of data collected through Trackers, please see section 8 below.
Trackers are generally distinguished based on their purpose:
- Technical Trackers: necessary for the functioning of the Site, including navigation trackers (necessary for normal navigation and use of the Site) and functionality trackers (which remember your settings on the Site, such as privacy preferences, to improve the service). The retention of these Trackers does not require your consent.
- Profiling Trackers: used to track your behavior in order to create a profile of your interests and send advertising messages tailored to your preferences. We may also share this information with third parties. The retention of these Trackers requires your consent. You are free to give, deny, or withdraw consent to the installation of such Trackers via the consent banner displayed on the Site and/or through the functionalities of your operating system. Your preferences are stored in a consent management platform (CMP) provided by Iubenda, which acts as our data processor. The functionalities of the Site will not be affected if you choose to deny consent to these Trackers.
- Analytical Trackers: used to collect information about how you interact with the Site to optimize its services. They do not require consent when treated as equivalent to technical trackers.

In the event of restriction of processing, the personal data shall, except for storage, be processed only with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of substantial public interest. In any case, you will be informed before such restriction is lifted (Art. 18 GDPR).
